A perfect summer drink to keep you cool, hydrated, and refreshed!
Ingredients:
* 2 tbsp roasted jau sattu (barley flour)
* 1½ cups cold water
* ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
* ¼ tsp black salt (adjust to taste)
* 1 small green chili, finely chopped (optional)
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
* Few fresh coriander leaves, chopped
* A pinch of regular salt
* Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl or shaker, mix the roasted jau sattu with a little water to form a smooth paste (prevents lumps).
2. Add the remaining water and mix or shake well.
3. Add lemon juice, roasted cumin, black salt, green chili, and chopped coriander.
4. Stir thoroughly. Adjust salt and spices to your preference.
5. Serve chilled. Add ice cubes if desired.
